DRI recommends upgrading to DR clutches with all engine modifications and as a stock replacement.

DRI clutches are composed to offer the most functional clutch. A good clutch must not only hold the horsepower but shift well and not tear up the clutch’s internal components.

When installing a new clutch, it is imperative that all clutch linkage and drive components are thoroughly inspected, and any worn or damaged parts are replaced. This is commonly overlooked by amateur mechanics and a big reason that many engines do not perform to their full capabilities.
